To strengthen the training of high-level academic personnel on the application and development of meteorological energy, and improve the technical level of the application and development of meteorological energy in western China, September 11-15, Ministry of Human Resources and CMA jointly held the high-level Training on the application and development of meteorological energy in western China in Urumqi. 33 students from 12 western provinces, and other related departments jointed the training. Dr. Xu Xiaofeng, Deputy Administrator of CMA, attended the training and made an important speech.
In his speech, Dr. Xu Xiaofeng pointed out that to make full use of clean and renewable energy resources is a necessary requirement to implement the scientific concept of development, to achieve harmony between human and nature, and maintaining sustainable economic and social development, and also an important action to further implement the "Some opinions of the State Council on accelerating meteorological development", promote China's meteorological development. Western China is rich in wind energy resource, solar energy resource, and many other meteorological resources for us to use, and has great potential in the application and research of wind, solar and other clean energy resources. But now, we lack of high-level academic personnel on the application and development of meteorological energy, and cannot meet the social demand of development and use of clean energy resources, there is an urgent need to further strengthen personnel training and team building in this area.
The high-level training mainly includes the situation and trend of development and application of wind and solar energy resource in China and abroad, China's policy and planning, distribution and trend changes, application and evaluation techniques, and project construction. 10 influential experts from the State Development and Reform Commission, meteorological departments, and wind energy development companies, etc. gave classes at the senior training. Dr. Luo Yong (Deputy Director-General of NCC), Prof. Zhu Changhan, Prof. Liu Hongbing, and Prof. Zhu Rong from NCC gave special reports. To combine theoretical study and practical work, the sponsor arranged participants to visit Xinjiang Wind Energy Limited Liability Company, the Golden Wind Technology Inc. In addition, students exchanged opinions at the training. Through experts teaching, place visiting and students exchanging, we further specified our future direction and goals.
