In 2013, General Administration of Sports of China commended the awards to groups and individuals who made outstanding contributions to the London Olympic Games. BCC won the Scientific Research and Service Partner Award and recieved the medal and the official document on January 9, 2014.
Based on the analysis of meteorological condition of Europe and China, BCC’s experts provided the recommendation of Chinese cities and European countries as candidates for training sites for the London Olympic Games. At the beginning of 2012, together with China Institute of Sport Science of General Administration of Sports of China, BCC edited and published the Climate Service and Training Guide for London Olympic Games, which became one of the most important materials for coaches and athletes preparing for the Games.
