Rainstorm leads to the burst of Jubba River which lies in southern Somali in the first ten days of June. The flooding makes 7 dead, more than 30 villages swallowed, more than 500 houses swept away, at least 120 livestock dead, and thousands of hectare farmland destroyed.

On June 6, the continuous rainstorm initiates mud-rock flow in Antioquia Province in northwestern Columbia, at least 5 people dead, 11 injured, and more than 10 disappeared.

High Temperature and Heat Wave Sweep South Asia
In June, high temperature and heat wave sweep south Asia. The maximum temperature reached 45 to 50 degrees Celsius in parts of India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Nepal. About 500 died from the high temperature.
The Europe Encounters Torridity and Drought
Many countries in Europe encounter high temperature and torridity in the last ten days of June. Northwestern France has broke the high temperature record, and three provinces have issued the early warning for torridity. The maximum temperature is beyond 30 degrees Celsius in central and southern Belgium, and southwestern German. Portugal and Spain bear the severest drought in 60 years. It is the lowest water storage year in southeastern Britain reservoir since 1914.
Southern Tajikistan Confronts Flood
Affected by the continuous high temperature in the last ten days of June, a great deal of thawed ice makes the water line of Panj River rise 2 meters. Parts of reach banks have been destroyed, and more than 7,000 people have evacuated in emergency.
