Predictions of summer precipitation and temperature trend over Asia in 2006

The predictions of summer precipitation and temperature trend over Asia in 2006 are shown in Fig. A and Fig. B, respectively. Note that several different predictions, most of them being probability forecasts, were presented and discussed during FOCRAII 2006. In some areas the forecasts were too different to have one consensus forecast. Also, some areas have very limited predictability. Thus it should be kept in mind that the predictions have a large uncertainty in some areas, and accordingly, caution should be taken in using the information.
