According to satellite remote sensing monitor of July 4, 2006, our average leaf area of land vegetation index (Lai) is 1.546, the provincial average Lai shown in table 1.
The main terrestrial vegetation distribution is in the Middle and Eastern China, and western of Xinjiang, among them, vegetation distribution of Fujian, Taiwan, Hainan, and Zhejiang Province was better (Lai index greater than 2) (see figure 2). By precipitation, the observation value observation value of most areas in South of Southwest China, the West of Jiangnan and Southern China were lower.
