On August 7, BCC hold the Consultation Meeting of Drought, Dr. Xu Xiaofeng, Deputy Administrator of CMA, as well as Dr. Wang Bangzhong, Dr. Dong Wenjie and Dr. Li Weijing attended the meeting.
Dr. Xiaofen Xiu said that the impact of drought on the national economy is great, we must pay attention to the drought monitoring, prediction, early warning and impact assessment, and do better drought monitoring, prediction and impact assessment.
The meeting was presided by Dr. Dong Wenjie, it focused on the integration of recent weather & climate conditions, analysis the recent drought monitoring of some provinces, and the future development trend.
