The third session of Sub-committee of Climate Application and Services of National Climate Committee was held on 25 November 2005. The eleven committeemen from CMA Headquarter, NCC/CMA, NSMC/CMA, CAMS/CMA, OEPC/SOA, CRAES, RIFEEP/SFA, IESD/CAAS, BOH/MWR, CIGEM/MLR attended the session. Nearly 30 relevant experts from NCC attended the session.
The Sub-committee of Climate Application and Service was founded in August 2003 as one of four sub-committee of National Climate Committee. The leading institution of the sub-committee is the National Climate Center.
Dr. Dong Wenjie, director of the sub-committee, chaired the opening ceremony. Dr. Dai Xiaosu from the Office of National Climate Committee and DSTD/CMA made an address in the opening ceremony. Prof. Wang Xiangui and Prof. Gao Qinxian, deputy director of the sub-committee chaired session respectively. During the session, the committeemen introduced the accomplished work on climate application and services by their institution in 2005 respectively, discussed the work plan of 2006, and divided the modification work of "China Application and Services Plan".
