Lately, BCC strengthened the monitoring, analysis and assessment on drought, heat wave, occurrence and developing of typhoon, in order to better and faster provide tailored products of climate and climate change to the decision-makers and the public. BCC issued the “Express on Extreme Events Monitoring and Assessment”, which including “Long-drawn higher temperature and drought in Chongqing City and Eastern Sichuan, the drought become more severe”, “Most severe summer drought happened in Chongqing City and Eastern Sichuan Since 1950, drought will be last in next week”, “Analysis on Summer Heat wave and drought in Chongqing City and Eastern Sichuan”, “Analysis on High temperature weather in China” and “Over strong 0608 typhoon ‘SAOMAI’ impact assessment” to name a few.
