On 28 August 2006, Dr. Dong Wenjie, Director-General of BCC, awarded "The outstanding Supervisors of CAS Graduate School".
As the 22nd Teachers’ Day is coming, CAS recently commended the teachers that had worked hard for the education development, and presented honor certificate of "The outstanding teachers of CAS Graduate School". Dr. Dong Wenjie had made an important contribution in CAS personnel training.
Dr. Dong Wenjie engaged in long-term climate dynamics, climate theory and prediction, and global change research, he had more than 30 graduate students with the doctor's or master's degree of meteorology, and guided 5 postdoctoral researchers, he has won "The outstanding Supervisor of CAS Graduate School" for many times. His students also won numerous domestic awards.
Now BCC has a number of outstanding teachers, and this will make great contribution for the center’ personnel training, with the establishment of Postdoctoral research stations, BCC will attract a large number of outstanding students to study and work here. It is expected that all teachers would make greater contributions to the development of BCC.
