Based on the data of EOS\MODIS on September 30, 2006, the terrestrial average LAI in
Chinese terrestrial vegetation mainly distributes in the middle and east regions of China and the west part of Xinjiang, the terrestrial vegetation distribution condition is better in the areas of Fujian, Taiwan, Hannan and Zhejiang provinces, whose LAI are higher than 2. (figure 2).
