April 18, Dr. Wang Huijun (Director of IAP/CAS) and eight IAP experts accompanied by Dr. Sun Jian (Director-General of Office of General Affairs/CMA) visited BCC. Dr. You Youyuan (Deputy party secretary/BCC), Dr. Gu Wanlong (Assistant of Director-General/BCC) and related experts welcomed them. On behalf of BCC leaders, Dr. You Youyuan briefed introduced them the basic situation of BCC, and expressed our heartfelt thanks to the great support of IAP. Dr. Gu Wanlong introduced BCC achievements of professional building, scientific research, and personnel training, the service of climate and climate change. Dr. Wang Huijun exchanged opinions with experts, and visited the professional climate system. Dr. Ren Fumin from Division of Climate System Monitoring, Dr. Chen Lijuan from Division of Climate System Prediction, and Dr. Gao Ge from Division of Climate Applications and Services introduced their division.
