July 27, the Fourth International Seminar on Climate System and Climate Change (ISCS) was ended in CMA. The 12-days seminar was successfully concluded.
Dr. Wang Shourong, Deputy Administrator of CMA, Dr. Guo Yaxi, Director-General of Department of Scientific and Technological Development, and Dr. Dong Wenjie, Director-General of BCC, presented certificates to the outstanding students and took pictures with them. Dr. Luo Yong, Deputy Director-General of BCC, presided the closing ceremony.
Over 220 Chinese participants from CAS (Chinese Academy of Sciences), CMA (China Meteorological Administration), SOA (State Oceanic Administration), Beijing Normal University, Nanjing University of Information Science and Technology, Lanzhou University, Sun Yat-sen University and 9 foreign participants from Korea, Mongolia, Sweden, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Vietnam attend the ISCS. To encourage the active participation and passion and training thinking ability of the students, the seminar set up an outstanding trainee award. 19 students awarded the prizes including 6 best questions and 13 best presentations.
In order to make the next seminar more excellent and greater participants knowledge, the seminar extensively solicited the suggestion from each student, according to their characteristics and expectations, on the basis of the comprehensive conclusion.
