On invitation of CMA, Accompanied by Mr. Shen Xiaonong, Deputy Administrator of CMA, and Mr. Yu Jixin, Director-General of Department of International Cooperation, led by Prof. John Mitchell, PR of UK with WMO, Chief Scientist of Met Office and Director of Climatology, the 3-person delegation of Met Office visited BCC on 7 December 2007. Dr. Luo Yong, Deputy Director-General of BCC, received the British guests and made brief introduction on research and operation of climate and climate change. Some BCC experts also joined the meeting and discussed with them on cooperation and research in fields of climate change, climate model and climate prediction.
