WMO Officials Visited BCC

On invitation of CMA, Dr. Elena Manaenkova, Director of WMO Policy and External Relations, and Mr. Dieter Schiessl, Director of WMO World Weather Watch Department, visited Beijing Climate Center on 3 June 2008. Mr. Sun Yuan warmly received the guests and made brief introduction on operation and scientific research on climate and climate change of BCC. Dr. Elena Manaenkova and Mr. Dieter Schiessl were satisfied with the development of BCC and presented views on weather/climate disasters.
