Recently the vice President of China Xi Jinping wrote important instructions on the report of “weather service for the closing ceremony of the Olympics succeeded and rain suppression played an important role” handed in by the China Meteorological Administration. He affirmed the efforts made by the CMA. He wrote that the success of the Beijing Olympics is inseparable from the hard work of the numerous meteorological workers and staff members. He encouraged the meteorological departments to summarize experience and make persistent effort to do a good job for the weather service of the Paralympics.
The administrator of the CMA Zheng Guoguang expressed that the instruction that vice President Xi Jinping made greatly encouraged the meteorological workers and staff and was also the expectation of the weather service for the Paralympics. Zheng said that the meteorological departments would carry out and implement the instruction spirit and summarize experience to try the best to do a good job of the Paralympic weather service.
