Tropical cyclone Sinlaku, currently centred about 400 km east of Manila, Philippines, is forecast to move slowly north-westward to northward and will reach typhoon intensity in 24 hours. The RSMC Tokyo Typhoon Centre is watching Sinlaku and providing guidance to the National Meteorological and Hydrological Services in the area.
