More than 800 young people from more than 100 countries will participate in the Tunza International Children and Youth Conference in Daejon, Republic of Korea, 17-23 August, to voice their demands on climate change. WMO is joining in supporting the Tunza Conference, which is being hosted by the United Nations Environment Programme and its National Committee for Korea. Other supporters are the Daejeon Metropolitan Government and several other United Nations entities, including UNICEF, UNFPA, FAO, UNESCO and UN/DESA.
