On September 8, a forum called “Paying attention to climate change: challenge, opportunity and action”, which is jointly sponsored by Committee of Population, Resources and Environment of CPPCC, National Development and Reform Commission, National Climate Commission, China Meteorological Administration and State Forestry Administration, kicks off.
In the forum, representatives from CPPCC, the government, the industries of business and finance will communicate and discuss 6 main subjects including the influence and adaptation of climate change, mitigation policy and methods, local and industry, financing, the public participation and scientific and technological innovation.
