Organized by BCC, the Consultation Meeting on Climate Condition Trend and Outlook for Spring Ploughing in 2011 was held on 14 March 2011. Mr. Zhang Qiang, Deputy Director-General of Department of Forecast and Network, Dr. Zhang Zuqiang, Director-General of BCC, and experts from BCC, NMC, Guangdong, Hubei, Henan, Jiangsu, Shandong and Jilin PMBs attended the meeting. The meeting mainly focused on the climate characteristics since winter 2010/2011, climate condition trend for spring ploughing. After the meeting, BCC will provide relative climate service products to the related department for the spring ploughing in 2011.
