Invited by BCC, Dr. Jin Huang, Director of Climate Test Bed of NCEP/CPC, visited BCC on 18 September 2012. Dr. Song Lianchun, Director-General of BCC, Dr. Zhang Peiqun, Deputy Chief Scientist of BCC, and leaders of operational divisions of BCC attended the meeting. Dr. Jin Huang has successfully organized transition works such as MME and CFS since January 2011. Dr. Song overviewed and highly appraised the bilateral cooperation between CPC and BCC. He looked forward the future cooperation with CTB, especially on MME, drought early warning, modeling diagnosis, evaluation and improvement.
